Alongside my studies, I volunteered as the Social Media Manager for the Acorns Girls Youth Football club, a role I took on to gain real-world experience in community-driven digital marketing. Managing the online presence for three separate teams, I acted as a central creative hub, liaising directly with three different coaches to ensure each team’s achievements and updates were highlighted effectively. My responsibilities focused on building a consistent and engaging brand voice across Instagram and Facebook. I developed a comprehensive social calendar to keep the community informed, while remaining agile enough to handle "emergency" posts and real-time updates. From designing dynamic Instagram Stories to crafting high-energy match-day graphics, I focused on creating a professional and welcoming digital environment that celebrated the players and kept the club’s supporters connected.
