In 2018, I attended the Fashion Retail Academy, where I completed an intensive six-month course and graduated in 2019 with a Level 3 Diploma in Fashion Retail. The curriculum provided me with a comprehensive foundation in the commercial side of the industry, specifically focusing on Buying, Merchandising, and Team Management. For my final capstone project, I developed an end-to-end branded swimwear line featuring a high-profile collaboration between PrettyLittleThing and Megan Barton-Hanson. Capitalising on the peak cultural influence of Love Island at the time, I curated a full commercial deck that synthesized trend forecasting with strategic brand alignment. This project allowed me to apply my skills in assortment planning and market positioning, demonstrating my ability to identify timely consumer trends and translate them into a viable, market-ready retail strategy.
