For one of my initial University projects, I founded Mental Health Matters, a brand dedicated to supporting the emotional well-being of secondary school students. The center of the brand was a curated comfort box, a tangible toolkit designed to help students connect with their emotions and find a sense of companionship within the high-pressure school environment. This physical kit featured a notebook and pen for reflection, a motivational poster, and a stress ball, alongside a bespoke rigid pull-box containing custom affirmation cards for daily grounding. To ensure the brand resonated with its teenage audience, I also designed a custom Snapchat filter, meeting students on the digital platforms they use most. To provide a more permanent support system, I expanded the brand with a bespoke mobile application exclusive to the school’s student body. This private digital companion was designed to deliver proactive support through daily prompts for self-reflection and actionable advice for managing difficult feelings in real-time. By integrating this secure digital platform with the physical comfort box, I created a multi-dimensional ecosystem that bridged the gap between school-led initiatives and students' personal lives, ensuring that mental health resources were both approachable and always within reach.
